IC-Flow™ Indications | Visceral Surgery

In Visceral surgery, the IC-Flow™ Imaging System can also be used in open surgery for both resection and anastomosis control. It is possible to visualize the blood flow to see which tissue is still well perfused and what is damaged and needs to be resected. In addition, the anastomoses can be controlled for bleeding after the resection.

Procedure

1. The fluorescent dye is injected intravenously.

2. Using the IC-Flow™, the tissue perfusion can easily be viewed in real time, showing which parts of the tissue are well perfused and which are damaged.
